Dear Mr. Aabid Surti,

As we discussed over the phone, I am delighted to inform you that you have been selected to receive the NFS Sparrow Award 2013 for making significant contribution for Conservation of Water. The perseverance and dedication you have displayed is an inspiration to many young persons.

The award will be presented by way of a framed citation and sum of Rs.50,000 (Rupees Fifty thousand only) will accompany it, which may be utilized in the manner you deem fit. We would be grateful to know the name in which the cheque should be prepared.

The details of the award will  appear on the Nature Forever Society website, promotional material and in media. We will be in touch with you for more background information, including photographs of you at work.

The award will be presented at a ceremony on 20^th March 2013 at Ahemedabad. A number of people will attend the ceremony followed by dinner. Please ensure that you arrive in Ahmadabad latest by 19^th March 2012. In due course we will provide you with more details including accommodation, etc. we will reimburse your to and fro travel by II-AC.

…I have read of your praiseworthy efforts in the area of water conservation and my fellow-Rotarians have been impressed by the simplicity of your solutions.

Every year, RCB presents an award to a person who has contributed towards the conservation and preservation of our environment and i would be delighted if you could kindly accept this award this year.

RCB meets every Tuesday at the Taj Mahal Hotel. The meeting commences with fellowship and lunch and it is called to order around 1:40 pm and ends at 2:30 pm.

It is my pleasure to request you to accept this award and to address our members and i request you to let me know if Tuesday, 9th April or Tuesday, 16th April would suit your for this. (or even any Tuesday in May, other than 7th May)
