Meet Aabid Surti, founder of Drop Dead Foundation who has been saving water in a unique and unusual way. The 90-year-old Mira Road resident founded his one-man army NGO in 2007; and every Sunday, he visits people’s homes with a plumber to check and fix leaky faucets. He continues to carry on this fantastic work in spite of his age, and so far, has managed to save around 30 million litres of water. Thank you Charru Sharma, for endorsing Surti’s work.
